Children’s ministry (birth to 5th grade) includes many facets and offers a variety of programs with one main purpose, which is to minister to each family by uplifting the name of Jesus in all our activities.
Additional activities are:
- The children’s Wednesday evening schedule for Kindergarten through 5th grade is from 6:30 to 8:00PM. Each evening will include a Bible theme/story, character, and memory verse. This time will also involve crafts and a practice time with Koinonia, our children’s music department.
- Upward basketball program for children Kindergarten through 6th grade during January, February and part of March. Click on the Upward icon on the right side of this website for more information.
- Nazarene Summer Camp for Children is usually held in July at Camp Wesley Woods in Indianola, Iowa.

As always our main purpose is to help your child to understand three basic important principals that everyone in the Kingdom must know:

Logistics
Parents will drop off their children at one of two locations in the children’s department. If children stay for both sessions below, the department will transition between the activities. Please note the drop off locations:
- Sunday School Hour Drop-off location: Children’s Auditorium (double doors)
- Children’s Church – Drop off location: Playland
Each child should be checked in at the drop off location. Children should be picked up at the Children’s Auditorium within 15 minutes after dismissal of the service.
Each family will complete a registration card. Registration cards are located on a table just outside the main entrance to the Children’s Auditorium.
