Pam WattsMain Responsibilities:  It is my privilege to plan and prepare the worship service each Sunday.  This involves communication and rehearsals with our incredible tech team, amazing band, and wonderful choir.  My desire is to create a safe atmosphere for people to worship as the Lord leads them.  Our worship is spirit-led with both keyboards and guitars.  I have the honor to lead alongside my son – what a blessing for me personally.

Spouse:  I have been married to Richard for 34 years.  He is a great support to me in this ministry and I value his input and admire his integrity.

Children:  I have a beautiful daughter, Angie and her husband, Brian, who live in Liberty, MO and are both actively involved in their church.  Angie is a full time graphic design director at her church and Brian volunteers as the youth leader.  Our son, Andy and his wife Lindsay, live in University Park and he is on staff at Gateway and Lindsay is very active in ministry.  We have one granddaughter, Ellie, and one grandson, Elijah,  who are the joy in our lives.

Favorite Food:  Ice cream is at the top of the list.  I’m an all-American girl so give me a good hamburger and fries and I’m happy.

Hobbies:  I love home décor…looking through magazines and wandering through gift shops.  I enjoy reading and listening to music.  My favorite pastime is to sit on the deck with a cup of tea (hot or cold) and read a magazine.

My pathway to Gateway:  I grew up in church and attending southern gospel concerts. When I went to Vennard College, I began attending Gateway and quickly got involved in the music program, singing in choir and small groups.  We have called Gateway “home” for the past 35 years.
