With their rich blend of family harmony, gospel trio, The Tacketts bring a heartfelt ministry of sharing the love of God to those in need of encouragement. With a refreshing blend of progressive southern and contemporary gospel, they are continuing a thirty-year family tradition of singing for the Lord. Their CD, “So Many Blessings”, includes five of their original songs, along with favority hymns and gospel classics. Their newest recording project, “The Tacketts”, was released in September 2009. The Tacketts created and host the successful, “At Home With the Tacketts Concert Series”, featuring many of the top artists in gospel music.
Though not related, shares a great family name, and is a natural fit in strong faith, friendship, and rich, warm harmonies. He sang his first solo of “Jesus Loves Me” at the tender age of six, atop a grand piano in his hometown church in Oklahoma City, and he’s been blessing audiences ever since. Jason held lead roles in musical theatre and church performances and toured extensively with a national group. His family moved to Defiance, Ohio, in 1998, where he soon met Jeff and Sarah while the three were performing together in their home church praise band.
Is a former Miss Ohio and talent award winner in the Miss America Pageant. Her singing debut came in her kindergarten musical in Van Wert, Ohio, and music quickly became a focus for her life. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, she has an extensive background in musical theatre, TV and radio commercials, and voice-overs. In addition to being a Christian wife, mother of four, singer and song-writer, she’s been a featured speaker, emcee, and performer for special events and women’s conferences. Her heartfelt sincerity easily connects with audiences across the country.
Began singing and touring at age eight with his family’s gospel group in churches and revivals throughout the country. As a preacher’s kid, he traveled from their home in Shelby, Ohio, to share their music ministry from 1979 to 1994. Since then, Jeff has toured as country and gospel performer. This husband, father, and church leader is a versatile vocalist, composer, and instrumentalist, playing piano, guitar, drums, bass, banjo, and steel guitar. Jeff released his first solo project, “Narrow Pathways”, in 2000.
